“We are going diving on our wedding day, the day is going to be really relaxed.” That is what the Groom said when we first met him in a video call.
Charmane and Adrian are a totally chilled out couple, with a great sense of humour, and their wedding really reflected their personality.
Getting ready
At the Sea Ray Villa, Charmane was preparing to marry, surrounded by close family and friends. The lovely ladies from Renoir doing the Hair and Makeup, making everyone laugh so much.
Meanwhile, the Groom and a few friends were emerging from an early dive near the back of the villa.
After the dive, we caught up with Adrian, who went to change and get ready at the Coral Bay Divers centre.
The guests all arrived with Adrian at the Sea You Beach Bar in a lovely vintage Bedford coach. Charmane and her mum arrived in a vintage red Mercedes.
The Sea You Beach Bar is a perfect location for a chilled wedding, on its own, at the far edge of Coral Bay. The wedding had a relaxed, chilled informal vibe, and the couple married with their toes in the sand on a beautiful October afternoon, with the sound of the sea in the background.
To incorporate Charmane and Adrian’s love of scuba diving and sense of fun, we surprised them by organising the guests to form an arch of diving fins to walk through after the wedding ceremony.
The guests then relaxed on this perfect day by the sea. Later, we enjoyed sunset with the couple on the beach, finishing with a romantic champagne picnic by the sea.
The day finished with a touching first dance and drinks into the night on the beach
