Getting ready – Louis Paetheon Hotel
Gemma and Craig married on a lovely day in May, in Paphos. The day begun at the Louis Phaethon Hotel, where we started with Gemma, the bride, along with the ladies, who had the hair and makeup team in.
We then caught up with Craig the Groom, and the guests, who collected in the hotel reception. Gemma had organised a coach to take everyone except the Bridal party to Lemba Bridge.
While the guests went to the ceremony, Gemma and her bridal party finished getting ready. We had a quick shoot with them before we travelled with them to Lemba Bridge in a Minibus. Gemma travelled in style in an open topped Bently!
The ceremony, at Lemba Bridge – A beautiful Cypriot wedding venue
Lemba Bridge is a beautiful Cypriot venue, overlooking a green valley with the sea in the distance. The sun was blazing in the background, and a chorus of birds were singing as Gemma and Craig married in front of their close family and friends.
After the lovely ceremony, the couple wanted group shots. We then had a quick couple shoot in the greenery below the ceremony area.
The wedding reception – The Windmill Restaurant
We then moved to the next venue, a traditional Cypriot taverna, in Kato Paphos. Gemma had organised an open topped wedding bus for all the wedding party and guests, where they toured Paphos a little before arriving at The Windmill Restaurant.
At The Windmill Restaurant, the couple cut the cake, had speeches, while the guest’s enjoyed canapes and drinks. After the speeches, we whisked the couple away, using our luxury transportation to a romantic sunset shoot. When we returned, the couple and the guests enjoyed their wedding breakfast.
The party then begun with the first dance, followed by traditional Cypriot dancers, and plate smashing, which really got the crowd going, and kicked off the party.
