Backing up and editing photography and videography, done properly, with care and attention, is a very time-consuming process.
No shortcuts
You want the best of the best, and we work hard to deliver this. This means not cutting corners, sweating on the smallest details, and doing things the best way instead of the fastest.
Most other photographers are applying Instagram like presets to the entire set of photographs and doing very little extra editing work, cutting lots of corners. Our approach is different. We use the same software and approach to editing and finishing that we use on a high-end fashion photography shoot.
Often other photographers, to save time, are only fully editing a tiny selection of images. Instead, we hand edit every single delivered photograph, to a print-ready finish.
Postage and online delivery
When your photography and videography files are ready, we post them to you on a USB. This can take a while, so in between, we upload small versions of the photographs, and a short video trailer online for you, ready to share with your family and friends, or on social media.
We shoot with extremely high-resolution cameras, and the full-size finished file sizes are enormous. Meanwhile, Cyprus broadband is very challenging, which is why we don’t upload your full-sized photographs online.
Parties back home and sneaky peeks
We endeavour to send you a small set of sneaky peek photographs, and if you have booked video, your video trailer within a few weeks, so you have something to share quickly. At your pre-wedding meeting, we will ask about parties back home. If you want us to, if possible, we will get you something ready for your party.
How long will it take us to finish editing?
It depends on the time of year and our schedule. Earlier in the year, we can deliver things quicker than at the end of the year. We aim to have finished editing your videography and photographs and have the small images online for you within 12 weeks.
Albums, prints, canvases, folio boxes and wall art are slightly different. Once we have fully edited your photography, we consult with you regarding designs and choices of images. This is a back-and-forth process that ends with you finally approving the designs.
Once you have approved the designs, we place orders with the artisans that print and create the albums and other products. They ship the finished products to our studio in Cyprus, where we quality check them and then ship them to you.
